Baby Shower Soap Favours

It’s a girl! A few months ago Goodies got an order for baby shower soap favours. The customer didn’t want typical baby shower shapes, like a pacifier, onesie, or baby blocks. They wanted something more for the Mom and the guests at the shower.

Saying the baby is going to be a girl, I decided to make some soap loafs in various colours incorporating Himalayan pink salts, loofa and rose petals. I used different of our scents: Pavlova, Skoring with the Hunnies and Tutti Fruiti.

To package the baby shower favours, we put the soap into clear cello bags with a “baby” stamp in pink and purple.

Soap Stamp

Here is a rendering of our first soap stamp. This graphic will be stamped into most of our soaps. We think it will be a great addition to our creations.

This stamp was created on 3D rendering and machining software, we’re lucky enough to have a friend that has a computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine that cuts very delicate and precise designs. We can’t wait to see what else we can create using this technology.

Over here at Goodies we are obsessed with Hello Kitty, one of our soap makers just came home with some great stuff from Sephora.

We finally have photos of Goodies Gourmet Soap’s new line called Epicurious. All of the soaps are made with SLS free ingredients, they are 100% biodegradable and vegan friendly. These soaps are especially great because they have all natural fragrances and citrus and herbs mixed in to make a soap that would be great for the kitchen or the bathroom.

New Scents

We just got three new scents and now it is time to name them and we’d love your help!

For the person who comes up with the best name of the scent you will win a fun soap of your choice in that fragrance. Below I will describe what the scent smells like and all you have to do is come up with the best (dessert or sweets inspired) name. Check out our existing fragrances first, cotton candy is already gone ;)

With so many issues that we solved, I’m so happy to announce that the new Goodies Gourmet Soaps is finally up and running, YEY!!!
I hope everyone enjoys looking through the content and likes our little “guys” the cupcake, popsicle, ice cream cone and the donut. I think we need to give them some names. Any suggestions?

New Business Cards

Finally got the new business cards from Moo. Now these aren’t brand new they are a reorder of my previous cards but with 25 extra images. Therefore there are just 4 cards that are similar, I think I’ll have a hard time choosing which ones to put into the outgoing packages. At the same time it’s what’s so great about these business cards is that people can choose whatever card they’d like when you meet them at a craft show or on the street.
